This deceptively lightweight necklace is made up of polymer beads, some textured, that are hand formed one at a time. The process for all of my one-of-a-kind necklaces begins with at least two weeks of mixing colors in polymer and making a wide variety of beads to create the “palette” of stones to choose from for the next step. I then design several pieces at once, creating several necklaces from each batch of beads. It’s a discriminating process and I spend considerable time balancing the components. I don’t finish each necklace until the configuration is to my satisfaction!
