One of a kind necklace #606

$365.00

This statement necklace can be worn long or doubled. The surprisingly lightweight strand is made up of polymer stones that are hand formed one at a time. The process for all of my one-of-a-kind necklaces begins with about two weeks of mixing colors in polymer and making a wide variety of beads to create the “palette” of stones to choose from for the next step. I then design several pieces at once, usually creating about 10-20 necklaces from each batch of beads. I assemble rough drafts by stringing them temporarily onto monofilament line. It’s a discriminating process and I spend considerable time balancing the components. Sometimes it flows effortlessly and other times certain pieces are set aside until I can return to them with fresh eyes. I don’t finish each necklace until I know the configuration is to my satisfaction.

Can be worn long or doubled. Features a sterling clasp and sterling spacer beads.
